"Some people are born to make great art and others are born to appreciate it. It is a kind of talent in itself, to be an audience, whether you are the spectator in the gallery or you are listening to the voice of the world's greatest soprano. Not everyone can be the artist. There have to be those who witness the art, who love and appreciate what they have been privileged to see." -- Ann Patchett in Bel Canto.

Great trivia question, Jela....thanks for the fun, and prize offering , too.
I'm stumped on a few myself...I do like the fact that you have 21 song titles to mark the occasion of winter solstice on the the 21st.
I'll try to get an answer in sometime today, afterall:
"we may not get another Friday night"

Elaine - Congratulations you are the winner!
Well done. PM KarenZ with your snail mail address and she'll arrange for the signed CD to be posted to you. She will be getting it signed over the New Year concerts at Passims so you'll have a super package landing on your doorstep in 2008.
Thanks so much for participating - 'King of Seventh Avenue' is one of my favourites so I had to get that one in the quiz even if it did prove a little tricky for you.
Thanks also to the rest of you who posted such nice comments and Paddy sounds like you were very close to getting them all - better luck next time.

Congratulation, Elaine! I knew I'd wake up to a winner (rather than frost on the window)!
Thanks again Jela!
