I bet I know where Bonnie's gonna be on August 16th! :D

"Some people are born to make great art and others are born to appreciate it. It is a kind of talent in itself, to be an audience, whether you are the spectator in the gallery or you are listening to the voice of the world's greatest soprano. Not everyone can be the artist. There have to be those who witness the art, who love and appreciate what they have been privileged to see." -- Ann Patchett in Bel Canto.

The shows start this week.

I just saw Chad Perrone on Friday and I would suggest checking him out as well. He opens for Martin Sexton on July 19th.

In a sad development, WBOS has changed it's format. They have done away with all of their DJ's and changed their musical focus. :(

Hey Bonnie,
I couldn't believe it when I was in the car this morning flipping through the presets on the radio, and got to WBOS. What happened? Sounds like the old FNX.

Word is that it's all a move by Greater Media to appeal to the 24-35 year old male demographic. While personally to me, the new music is more of what I prefer to hear on the radio (ie, Soundgarden, Nirvana, along with newer groups, more rock based as opposed to over-exposed pop-edged stuff), I am VERY disappointed in the canning of all the dj's except for maintaining the Sunday morning Over Easy with George Knight. The dj's were great and I was friendly with a couple of them and it seems like the humanity has been taken out of it. As well, the folks who had been long time listeners are majorly disappointed and upset from the feedback replies I read on an online news story.
