Postby paddyinthepub » Thu Nov 30, 2006 10:32 am

It's that time of year again. My how time does fly!!!

It's a list of CDs that you would put on your list, ones you don't have yet but are thinking it's high time you did.

Happy Holidays Y'all.

Here's a few on my list:

Sam Baker - Mercy
Eliot Morris - Balancing the World
Jack Harris - Broken Yellow
Ray Bonneville - Rough Road

What's on your list?

"Some people are born to make great art and others are born to appreciate it. It is a kind of talent in itself, to be an audience, whether you are the spectator in the gallery or you are listening to the voice of the world's greatest soprano. Not everyone can be the artist. There have to be those who witness the art, who love and appreciate what they have been privileged to see." -- Ann Patchett in Bel Canto.

I've seen so many artists this year, and the price of tickets usually busted me, so I wasn't able to pick up CD's, so I have a pretty long list:

Josh Ritter
Terry Tufts
Mary Gauthier
Tracey Grammer
Lowen & Navarro
Bill Deasey
Christopher Williams

oh, and I just saw a John Mayer on MTV, so I'd like his new cd too.

I better start saving my pennies up.

Ah, I do so love iTunes. :)

No music under the tree for me either, but I did get to attend the Red Dirt Rangers Kid's Christmas Show at The Blue Door. I think that's as good as music under the tree. 8)
