Folks,
To date, three videos have been submitted to the Ellis Paul Video Contest. Please view the three videos at the YouTube link below and leave some comments there to let EP Management know what you think. I would also appreciate if you posted here on the board as well.
My favorite submission is the video of "Dragonfly".

Hi Karen, this really has been surprisingly slow a response to The Prize of a thousand dollars for the best video for a song on the new record. I think the contest deadline should be extended to allow more entries, surely the more the merrier, and who knows what might be coming soon. I did see a couple of new videos just this morning out on youtube.

Paddy,
Thnaks for the heads-up about the other two videos. As far as the small number of submissions, my feeling is that it makes the judging easier! There's still almost a week until the deadline, so there may be more forthcoming. Better to have quality rather than quantity in this instance.

Eight videos have now been submitted to the contest - another entry for "Dragonfly" has appeared. Have any of you watched any of these? If so, what do you think? My favorite remains the first "Dragonfly" video - the one uploaded by TheJrt9999.

I've watched the submissions and like the same 'Dragonfly' one as you Karen. I also like Bouncing Ball's 'Heaven's Wherever You Are'
Congrats to all the people who submit - it's not easy.

Re: Ellis Paul video contest! Enter by July 30, 2010!
Finally watched them all. What a creative bunch!
I really like the Dragonfly you have mentioned, as well as the Heaven's Wherever You Are (with the Go Dusty Go T-shirt!).
Was the kid in TDAEC video old enough to drink? HA!
The last River Road video with the captions had me laughing out loud!
Can't wait to hear who wins!

Re: Ellis Paul video contest! Enter by July 30, 2010!
We entered our video today! Take a look!
My favorite part - which is really only for true Ellis fans - is at the 3:40 mark, when my oldest does the Ellis Paul TDAEC leap (but not into a lake, and not with a real guitar).
I've loved watching all these videos. What a fun idea!
Cheers,
Sonia

Looks like there are two or three last-day entries! Just watched a video for "The Day After Everything Changed"! John, I didn't find your "Paper Dolls" video - yet. I guess it takes a while to be "searchable". I look forward to seeing it!

I wish I had the time, patience, and talent to get this creative. Amazing videos submitted thus far so just great job all around everyone.
I found the video that gets my vote. It's a late entry, I think, and one of my many favorites on The Day After Everything Changed:
