Folks,
You don't have to subscribe to XM/Sirius satellite radio to listen to Ellis Paul's recent performance recorded at XM/Sirius on April 5, 2010. The performance will be broadcast on the XM/Sirius radio show The Village (Channel 808) on:
May 11, 2010 - 12pm EST
May 15, 2010 - 12am EST
BUT... even if you don't have satellite radio, for this particular event, you can listen online at:
Sirius Internet Radio
Ellis is joined by Michael Clem on bass and Rusty Spiedel on guitar.
I'll remind everyone a little closer to the date and maybe we can have an online gathering.

Ellis Paul Live on XM Radio - May 11 and May 15, 2010
"Some people are born to make great art and others are born to appreciate it. It is a kind of talent in itself, to be an audience, whether you are the spectator in the gallery or you are listening to the voice of the world's greatest soprano. Not everyone can be the artist. There have to be those who witness the art, who love and appreciate what they have been privileged to see." -- Ann Patchett in Bel Canto.

I'm wondering how many of us are currently "into" satellite radio. I had a rental car with it. ALL SPRINGSTEEN ALL THE TIME on E Street Radio. How Cool is That? Then it dawned on me that If I got hooked on satellite radio, I might stop playing CDs. That wouldn't be good. For now, I'm a holdout. One thing's certain, next car I get, XM or Sirrius will be a deal breaker!! I can drive a mighty hard bargain when I wanna...
Thanks for the heads up on Ellis' satellite time...can't wait!!!

Just realized I'm on the road tomorrow at the slotted air time and unable to listen in or join in on the chat. Coincidentally headed for Washington DC where this show was taped for satellite radio. Enjoy. I'll catch up.

Paddy,
That was a typo on my part. The second re-broadcast will be May 15 at 12am EST. Sorry.
Also....I'm not sure how this is gonna work today.....if we have to sign up for the free trial or what. I guess I'll logon to The Village later and see what happens:

Folks,
To those of you on Facebook, a heads-up that XM/The Village posted some pictures from Ellis' recent visit to the XM studio on its Facebook wall.
