The Ellis Paul Trio, seen here at the Tin Angel in March 2000, would tour again later that year in Texas. The fall tour began at Cypress Creek Inn in Wimberley, Texas on this date - Sept. 27. The Trio started each show with a Neil Young cover.

Anyone want to guess the Neil Young song? Or name the two other two guys who made up the Trio? :)

Thanks for bringing back great memories!! I was at the Wimberley show...it was actually my first time to travel any distance for a show. So I do remember this show fondly. I swear when the trio sang "comes a time" to begin these shows, it just gave me goosebumps.

Next time I see Don Con I will have to look to see if it says "Kiss Here X" on top of his head. :P
