Folks,
The 3rd Ellis Paul show that I ever went to was on Feb. 7, 1998 on the campus of Miami University in Hamilton, Ohio. Ellis did a co-bill with two other musical groups - the now disbanded Salamander Crossing and the other was this New York trio who, coincidentally, recorded Ellis' "God's Promise" on their 2006 release Wild Bouquet. In addition, "bring them home", another song from the same release, is a Folk Alliance nominee for Song of the Year.
Can you name the trio? Click HERE for answer.

"Some people are born to make great art and others are born to appreciate it. It is a kind of talent in itself, to be an audience, whether you are the spectator in the gallery or you are listening to the voice of the world's greatest soprano. Not everyone can be the artist. There have to be those who witness the art, who love and appreciate what they have been privileged to see." -- Ann Patchett in Bel Canto.
