This photo of Ellis was taken on April 28, 2001 at the Blue Door in Oklahoma City. Christopher Williams is holding the lyrics to "Minor Key." Some desperate audience members had printed the lyrics and duct-taped the pages together as a means of ensuring that Ellis would perform the song. Notice the Route 66 sign on the wall behind them.
