Nov. 9 in EP Music History Trivia

Postby KarenZ » Tue Nov 09, 2010 7:25 pm

Folks,

Seven years ago tonight  these two compadres did a show that was part of a tour through Texas in support of their Side of the Road release. This photo was taken at the Jefferson Freedom Cafe in Ft. Worth. Any guesses on what song was being performed? :-)

There have to be those who witness the art, who love and appreciate what they have been privileged to see." -- Ann Patchett in Bel Canto.

Jela,

Good guess, but no, it wasn't the title track. :-) It was "Citizen of the World" - I thought maybe Vance's facial expression might give it away....but I guess you had to be there! :-)

I'm going to go with "Comfort You" by Van Morrison

I subsequently thought it might have been 'The Only Way' because of the date on the photo, which we in the UK would write as 9/11.

As 'The Only Way' was inspired by THE 9/11 I thought that that might have been a clue.

Shows how my obscure mind works!!!
