Folks,

OMG! Ten years ago today, Ellis played the Milliennium Stage at The Kennedy Center!

"I'm getting older, I don't need to justify myself to you. Do you hear me?"

Click on the link below to watch the entire 60-minute performance. He starts off with some wicked harmonica - playing BeckyG's favorite song. :)

Becky's favorite song, interesting.. I always felt this got lost on the live CD, along with Mrs. Jones..

Karen what is the second song Ellis sings here? is it Everythings Broken.. I couldn't quite make it out.. whatever it is.. he tells the Dead Head Story before it.

Patti,

The Kennedy Center performance included two songs that were never recorded: "Everything's Broken" and "Rainy Season". :)

okay now I am going to have to make the time to listen to the whole thing.. I have only heard Rainy Season once maybe twice... I think it is a "rocking" song... and oh so appropriate this spring/summer

 Rain Rain go away. ..
