May 29 in EP Music History Trivia (prize today!)

Postby KarenZ » Fri May 29, 2009 9:33 am

Good morning folkies,

John Fitzgerald Kennedy (aka JFK), 35th President of the United States, was born on this date in 1917.

I'll send out a copy of EP's Stories to the first person who replies with the title of an Ellis Paul song that mentions JFK. :)

"Some people are born to make great art and others are born to appreciate it. It is a kind of talent in itself, to be an audience, whether you are the spectator in the gallery or you are listening to the voice of the world's greatest soprano. Not everyone can be the artist. There have to be those who witness the art, who love and appreciate what they have been privileged to see." -- Ann Patchett in Bel Canto.

I got it in the mail the other day. Thank you.

Feta, my cat, wants me to ask if you have a pet. He won't stop sniffing at the envelope it came in.

The only pet I have (that aren't stuffed) is a ground hog in my yard. Does that count? ;-)

As I recall the envelope I used was recycled....so maybe the home it was in before it came to me had a pet. :)
