Folks,

It was on December 16 in the year 1773 that members of the Sons of Liberty dumped crates of tea bricks from three British East India Company ships into Boston Harbor to protest the British Tea Act. That fateful act is known as the Boston Tea Party.

Can anyone name an Ellis Paul song that mentions Boston? I can think of one.....but there may be others..... :)

hmmm. good question Karen.. I can think of a song the mentions the transit system in Boston, but the word Boston is not used..

First off, I think of Snow in Austin , but I bet there are others....I'm going to have to look it up...

To quote Ellis in the new song Rose Tattoo -- I got your back! :D

Ellis Paul songs that contain the word Boston in the lyrics:

Patti offered Snow in Austin:

If snow can fall in Austin
Why can't you fall into my arms?
So you say your home is Boston
What's New England got on all these Texas charms

Potato Picker offered 3000 Miles:

And I sat with a girl from Boston,
Playing cards for cigarettes.
I lost her name with the poker game,
But her face I will never forget

I'll add Saturday, 2:15am and hope to hear about more!!! :)

I'll fly you into Boston
I'll be your tour guide if you stay

Paddy - thanks for getting my back....

How about The Night the Lights Went Out on Christmas (I know - it is a poem rather than a song.....)

Then Boston, Providence, then state by state
