Folks,

Here's a link to pictures from my weekend trip to the four Texas shows last weekend:

Ellis Paul in Texas - May 10-13, 2007

Enjoy! :)

"Some people are born to make great art and others are born to appreciate it. It is a kind of talent in itself, to be an audience, whether you are the spectator in the gallery or you are listening to the voice of the world's greatest soprano. Not everyone can be the artist. There have to be those who witness the art, who love and appreciate what they have been privileged to see." -- Ann Patchett in Bel Canto.

Karen - Wow again! Thanks so much for posting such a great collection of photos. I think I can see what you mean about 'Blue Rock' - it looks fabulous.

I recognised the Cactus (its the only one of the four Texan venues I've ever been too) and its one of my favourite, if not the favourite, listening room anywhere.

What a treat to have Mr Lorcovic accompany Ellis - that comment about the Muppet is priceless.

Oooh Karen how beautiful!! I wishe we had venues like that first one around me. Sitting on a couch with the musician in front of a fireplace is my favorite setting. :D
