WoodyFest 2009
"Some people are born to make great art and others are born to appreciate it. It is a kind of talent in itself, to be an audience, whether you are the spectator in the gallery or you are listening to the voice of the world's greatest soprano. Not everyone can be the artist. There have to be those who witness the art, who love and appreciate what they have been privileged to see." -- Ann Patchett in Bel Canto.

Richard! Awesome pictures! Thank you so much!
Folks, I highly recommend viewing these photos as the slideshow! It's almost like being there....I can hear the music.....and feel the heat!
The shot of DonCon tweaking Ellis' nose is simply precious! And I love the shot of Marie Burns....and Jela taking notes!

Richard,
Another lovely collection of photos! Thank you so much for posting the link! Some great shots of Mr. Baker. And the one of John Inmon when he was looking heaven-ward is just dreamy.

Re: WoodyFest 2009
Richard your photos taken at Woodyfest are really the next best thing to being there and thank you for sharing them with us here on the forum a real trip down memory lane for those that made it down to Okemah and a rare peek for those that couldn't make it. Someday I half expect to see a picture you took on the cover of Songwriter Magazine or Dirty Linen or one of those dedicated to the genre. Just fantastic!
