S.P.A.C.E. - Evanston, IL - April 17, 2009

Postby pre10der » Mon Apr 20, 2009 11:19 pm

This past fall my wife and I decided to get a new digital camera. We looked at a bunch of models and finally settle on an Olympus SP-560UZ. We chose that one because it had this rapid fire setting that takes 40 photos in 6 seconds. It is great for action shots and since our kids are involved in Football, Basketball, Baseball, Swimming, Soccer and Horseback Riding we wanted a pretty good zoom also. So I take it to the show in Evanston last friday and I put it on the rapid fire setting and start taking pictures of the show at S.P.A.C.E. I I ended up getting over 400 shots. I've posted some of the better photos at

I hope the link works and that you enjoy the pics.

Tim - lovely to see your photos - thanks for posting your selection. Must have taken a while to sort through 400!

"Some people are born to make great art and others are born to appreciate it. It is a kind of talent in itself, to be an audience, whether you are the spectator in the gallery or you are listening to the voice of the world's greatest soprano. Not everyone can be the artist. There have to be those who witness the art, who love and appreciate what they have been privileged to see." -- Ann Patchett in Bel Canto.
