Caroline (or anyone else who took pictures), feel free to add your photos to this thread, too!
You can see them here. The first ten photos are Shirley: http://s32.photobucket.com/albums/d44/katie8422/ellis/

I'll shed some light on the mystery....ep
So will I...............paddy
The Velvet Ellis and lack of Pink Capo.
Musta been a show at Passim earlier in the year.
on a side note: Katie, cool tee shirt you made with guitar and ep.
I want one, but larger and not a baby doll tee, please.
One more thing, John1977 made me feel old when he explained in Ogunquit that 1977 was the year he was born.
Funny, that's the year I graduated High School.
So I noticed that Katie adds the info 8422 to her handle out at photobucket as in Katie8422. So for my sake, I hope that means Katie was born in 1984 and is all of 22 years old.
Take that John1977, you old man you.....

Katie,
Links are preferable to individual pix to save space which costs EP $$ (see posting guidelines) although since I'm a pushover, I left your "teaser" up. Multiple photos should be in album though. In the past, when posting a link has been a problem for folks, I've had them e-mail the pix to me, then I put them in an online album and post a link. That way no one is left out. I try to be accomodating to all.

"Some people are born to make great art and others are born to appreciate it. It is a kind of talent in itself, to be an audience, whether you are the spectator in the gallery or you are listening to the voice of the world's greatest soprano. Not everyone can be the artist. There have to be those who witness the art, who love and appreciate what they have been privileged to see." -- Ann Patchett in Bel Canto.

aw shucks
thanks for all of the nice words guys.
no i havn't had any "formal" training. but i love taking pictures and i have a really good digi camera at this point.
the problem with the lighting is the way it shows up on the camera - the lights were all "warm colors" ... oranges and peachy colors- when it comes into view on the camera you should have a "cool" or a blue filter to balance out the amount of warm. or you can just do it on photo shop.
how does one submit for pic of the week?
thanks!

Care,
Here's the Fan Photo Criteria for Submission:

The thing is....the Fan Photo should be something we haven't previously seen, if possible. So dig into your photo archives if you can.

Care,
There's no need to delete your posting since you have the ability to edit it. When you have the new link that works, just edit your current posting, replacing the old link with the new one. It's easy as can be.
