Folks,
I hope you won't be too disappointed, but photos weren't permitted during the show last night. I did manage to sneak one in during the show and snapped three post-show. Hope you enjoy the small album anyway. Will try to post a report with setlist tomorrow.

The Barns at Wolftrap - April 26, 2008
"Some people are born to make great art and others are born to appreciate it. It is a kind of talent in itself, to be an audience, whether you are the spectator in the gallery or you are listening to the voice of the world's greatest soprano. Not everyone can be the artist. There have to be those who witness the art, who love and appreciate what they have been privileged to see." -- Ann Patchett in Bel Canto.

The acoustics were probably the best EVER. Many thanks to Bob the sound guy who was behind the biggest most-complicated looking sound board I have ever seen. Those Wolftrap folks know how to do things up right.

Looks beautiful, kind of like Stone Mountain in Maine!! Except that place is new, I'm thinking the Wolftrap has been around at least a little bit longer. I see there have been tornados in VA tonight. Doesn't look like it was anywhere near Ellis's neck of the woods, it was closer to Norfolk and Richmond.
