Folks,

Patti Dalton sent this photo to share with you all. Ellis was on stage at the Stone Soup Coffeehouse - getting the Red Sox score. :) Thanks, Patti!

"Some people are born to make great art and others are born to appreciate it. It is a kind of talent in itself, to be an audience, whether you are the spectator in the gallery or you are listening to the voice of the world's greatest soprano. Not everyone can be the artist. There have to be those who witness the art, who love and appreciate what they have been privileged to see." -- Ann Patchett in Bel Canto.

Well to explain correctly he confiscated the cell phone from the ladies who were getting the updates. Ellis continued talking to the person on the phone and during this call Dice K, the first pitcher to be born in Japan to start a World Series game got a hit and batted in 2 runs.. This was the first time a pitcher had done that in a World Series (if my baseball trivia memory serves me correctly).

(Oki was the technically the first ever to take the mound but he is a reliever not a started)

Winter trade talks soon... We might be adding Johan Santana to the lineup!!
