Finding Emilie

Postby paddyinthepub » Sun May 22, 2011 9:16 am

Bob Lefsetz tells his tale about hiking somewhere and how on the hike he is listening to radiolab when on comes the story Finding Emile. The link below will take you to Bob's story of hearing the story of Mark (the boyfriend) and Emilie (the girlfriend). Down at the bottom of Bob's letter just below him saying I am not doing this story justice.....is the link to: Finding Emily.

Run time of the radiolab piece is 21 minutes.

Paddy,

Finally had 20 minutes to listen to Radiolab's story Finding Emilie. All I can say is.....WOW. Thanks for the link, not only for the inspiring story, but for introducing me to Radiolab.

"Some people are born to make great art and others are born to appreciate it. It is a kind of talent in itself, to be an audience, whether you are the spectator in the gallery or you are listening to the voice of the world's greatest soprano. Not everyone can be the artist. There have to be those who witness the art, who love and appreciate what they have been privileged to see." -- Ann Patchett in Bel Canto.
