George Clooney is organizing the "Hope for Haiti" telethon.
Sting and Justin Timberlake, Christina Aguilera, Alicia Keys and Bono. They’re all lining up for the "Hope for Haiti" earthquake-relief telethon, which will blanket television Friday night.
The full lineup had not been announced at press time, but George Clooney, who will co-host the event from Los Angeles with Wyclef Jean (in New York) and Anderson Cooper (in Haiti), revealed those names to the Associated Press at the Golden Globes on Sunday night. The 8 p.m. show will be telecast on ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX, CNN, HBO, MTV, BET and other networks, and raise money for the Red Cross, UNICEF, Oxfam America, Partners in Health and Jean’s Yele Haiti Foundation.
The telethon will also be broadcast in the UK on MTV UK.
