i have been a fan of a band called the alarm for almost 25 years now. the lead singer, mike peters is a cancer survivor. he has started an organization to raise both awareness and funds for cancer research and bone marrow donation. they do this by bringing music to great heights. literally. they are recently back from mt everest. last year it was machu pichu in peru. with our very own ms meet n greet, lyn in the group.
