Posted: Wed Jun 21, 2006 3:53 am
Just received mine in this morning's post - great service from the US/UK postal system. It is fabulous and I am wearing it and will continue to wear it with pride.
Thanks Karen for getting these organised - the design is wonderful and they are really classy.

I sent you a message about ordering a couple pins just before the board was fixed. Did you get it or should I resend?
Posted: Wed Jun 21, 2006 2:19 pm
I'm certain I replied with my mailing address where you can send your order. If you didn't get my reply (with the address), please PM me again here on the new board and we'll start over again. Sorry!

It's like a ground-swell movement

Yee Haw. Karen, thank you!! These are sooo classy.

Got mine today. Yippee!!
They are beautiful Karen.
I'm sure "non-board" people will want them too! As a matter of fact, my friend Susan whined a little when she saw mine.

That's my favorite Charlie Brown-ism.

And I love the "I got a rock".........

Hmmm....I wonder if Ellis would want to put an EP lapel pin on his guitar strap(s)..... Do you think it would creep him out?
Posted: Mon Jun 26, 2006 10:20 pm
Well, they are
used to identify board members. and he does
post here. But then again, I'm pretty sure we all recognise him by sight.

I think we need to get Flynn to wear one.
Posted: Tue Jun 27, 2006 5:48 am
Paddy...that would be a coup.....
Posted: Tue Jun 27, 2006 7:31 am
I bet Don Con would!
Posted: Tue Jun 27, 2006 7:45 am
I meant we should get Flynn to wear one so we could recognize the chameleon when he was in our presence.
Posted: Tue Jun 27, 2006 5:46 pm
Hey, Ellis joined his own fan club on Myspace, why not wear a pin with his own photo on it?
Karen, I'm going to have to put my pin order on hold! I'll get back to you with my address when I have the $5 to spare. Ha ha. I have to laugh so I don't cry.
Posted: Tue Jun 27, 2006 11:39 pm
Flynn has seen the pin, but I sure wasn't giving him mine!!
As far as the hair? I always recognise him. Perhaps you all should go see him more often?
Posted: Wed Jun 28, 2006 7:45 am
Hey, I offered Flynn mine but he didn't take it...maybe he thought I was joking?
Posted: Wed Jun 28, 2006 9:34 am
I dont see why Flynn wouldn't take one.
It seems a perfect opportunity for him to say, to Ellis:
I got your back, again.
Posted: Wed Jun 28, 2006 9:38 am
Ohhh I can see Flynn taking one, modifying it, and wearing it on stage sometime when he opens for Ellis.......

Did you guys notice this new Melissa Bugg photo from WoodyFest 2006 on the web site? It's a close-up of Ellis signing autographs after the show. If you look closely you'll see the box of lapel pins (and a few loose ones on the table next to his hands) in the foreground.

Looks like we'll definitely have an opportunity in Ogunquit to have Flynn sporting an ep lapel pin.
Posted: Tue Jul 25, 2006 11:32 pm
Even if it takes tackling him first. I can think of a few volunteers for that, in fact...
Posted: Tue Jul 25, 2006 11:41 pm
I'd watch it Lauren. His nephews run a pretty tight ship security wise.

Dang it! Thwarted by munchkins!
(they are kids, right???)
Posted: Wed Jul 26, 2006 7:14 am
Can we get extra credit if we can get another artist to where an EP lapel pin?
Posted: Wed Jul 26, 2006 7:15 am
Please define "extra credit".
Posted: Thu Jul 27, 2006 6:44 pm
I don't know, extra credit, bonus points, it's got to be worth something for something.
I mean, getting Flynn to wear an EP lapel pin seems like a coup of some sort.
Posted: Thu Jul 27, 2006 8:00 pm
OK. OK. OK. I'll put an EllisPaulooza bumpersticker inside the Notes From the Road
book you won. How's that?
Posted: Thu Jul 27, 2006 8:21 pm
Ooooo! If I get Ellis to put one on his guitar strap, can I have one, too???
Posted: Thu Jul 27, 2006 8:54 pm
Sure. And if you get Ellis to put a lapel pin on his lapel
, I'll give you two!
(I really miss our old LOL emoticon with the guy getting hammered over the head!)
Posted: Thu Jul 27, 2006 11:33 pm
Oh, so do I
! But I will hold you to your word, Karen - I will hold you to your word!
