Katrina - "The Old Man and the Storm" on PBS

Postby PotatoPicker » Tue Jan 06, 2009 1:33 pm

Folks,

Coming after the fresh reminder of hearing Hurricane Angel New Year's Eve, I saw this story on boston.com about a new PBS special coming out related to Hurricane Katrina and its aftermath. I thought some of you might want to check out the story, and the show whenever it airs locally.

Thanks, Jeff. Happened to see the show listed in the TV listings for tonight. It's being aired as an episode of Frontline. Check link below for local times/dates:

"Some people are born to make great art and others are born to appreciate it. It is a kind of talent in itself, to be an audience, whether you are the spectator in the gallery or you are listening to the voice of the world's greatest soprano. Not everyone can be the artist. There have to be those who witness the art, who love and appreciate what they have been privileged to see." -- Ann Patchett in Bel Canto.
