Jukebox On "MY" Grave

Postby pre10der » Mon Apr 14, 2008 1:32 pm

I was listening to Jukebox this morning and I got to thinking ....

If you were a musician and decided to play Ellis' "Jukebox On My Grave" but you wanted to change the chorus to include your favorite/most influentail muscians How would you sing it?

Here's mine...

You can hear Jimmy Buffett
some Jackson Browne

some Eagles tunes
some Mellencamp
some James Taylor too

America and C-S-N-Y

and Dan Fogelberg risen
from the ashes on my grave, my grave
That's “Dan the Man” there
singing "Part Of The Plan" upon my grave

It was kinda hard trying to sing it and make it flow.

Anyways I thought it would be fun...give it a shot

WOW...Tim

Nice going and cool idea for a thread.

Reminds me a little of the haiku we had going a while back.

I'll work on it and be back later with something that flows.
