As many of you on the board are aware the past 3 years my son Jackson has been battling Leukemia. I am happy to inform everyone that today is his first day CHEMO FREE! He took his last chemo pills last night. No more Chemo injections, Chemo pills, Backrtum, Steriods and Spinal taps!! He will be getting his medaport out after spring break and will be able to do everything a normal kid does. We will still go in to the clinic for blood checks for the next few years to make sure is doesn't come back.
THANK YOU for all your concearns & prayers!
Tim

"Some people are born to make great art and others are born to appreciate it. It is a kind of talent in itself, to be an audience, whether you are the spectator in the gallery or you are listening to the voice of the world's greatest soprano. Not everyone can be the artist. There have to be those who witness the art, who love and appreciate what they have been privileged to see." -- Ann Patchett in Bel Canto.

Tim, glad to hear the positive news for your son.
I've matched and donated stem cells twice in the past and tomorrow morning I am donating pheresis (for the first time). It makes it all worth while when you hear how it can help someone.
Good Health and Happiness to you all...
