That's wonderful news for Lori. Hope it is a HUGE hit.

When we saw her in the summer at the West Mountain Inn, Vermont she and Mark Erelli ran a songwriting workshop and she talked about the writing/publishing contract she has in Nashville and how it works. So pleased that a big star is recording her material.

I know that others including Faith Hill have recorded her songs in the past.

Isn't Keith Urban the guy married to Nicole Kidman?

YES! And I found out a few days ago - when he and Nicole were on Oprah - that like Nicole, he's from Australia! And he is definitely swoonworthy! :-)

Here's Lori McKenna's latest release "Lorraine" in its entirety thanks to Performing Songwriter with Youtubes, Interview with Mary Steenburgen and Launch Player. My favorite is the title track. Enjoy!
