Taylor Mitchell ~ a promising young Canadian Folk artist was killed by coyotes on a day hike while on tour in Nova Scotia. Listening now to her cover Joan Baez's Diamonds and Rust I hear the promise of an artist that was goin places. It's somewhat haunting to read over her myspace page filled with tour dates and blogs about shows and folk conferences and excitement about the new record.
