"Some people are born to make great art and others are born to appreciate it. It is a kind of talent in itself, to be an audience, whether you are the spectator in the gallery or you are listening to the voice of the world's greatest soprano. Not everyone can be the artist. There have to be those who witness the art, who love and appreciate what they have been privileged to see." -- Ann Patchett in Bel Canto.

Thanks for running late! We just got in from a concert and heard Wabi-Sabi coming over the Internet - wow!

And Ellis mentioned the discussion board and the Book Club!

This is great - especially with Dusty flying acros the Board as well!

Jela,

"wabi-sabi" was the 2nd song, so you didn't miss much!

And ooh-la-la! A big plug for the discussion board! :D

Also heard "dragonfly races" and "the bed song" with Ellis and Don both taking a turn whistling. Fun. :D

I missed the interview as I was waiting with a TON of middle school kids to get on a bus to go see Blue Man Group, which was very cool!

Hoping WUMB has an archive of it!
