An old friend once told me - when The Eagles song "Hotel California" was big - that California is not so much a place... as a state of mind.

This photo of Ellis in Studio City, Ca. both supports that notion and dismisses it.

What a great photo....congrats to this week's winner. I half imagine there are hundreds of great photos such as this one just waiting to make their way to the forum.

Thanks for sharing guys and gals. It's truly the next best thing to being there. And a reminder that I could use a trip to California...and soon!!!
