"Some people are born to make great art and others are born to appreciate it. It is a kind of talent in itself, to be an audience, whether you are the spectator in the gallery or you are listening to the voice of the world's greatest soprano. Not everyone can be the artist. There have to be those who witness the art, who love and appreciate what they have been privileged to see." -- Ann Patchett in Bel Canto.

Anyone listening in? The EP segment just started....he's doing "because it's there". :)

We were listening. It was a great mix of live and recorded songs.

Ellis plays and sings so well "live". It is always a treat to have the recorded songs in the same show as the "live".

If you are near Charlottesville, try to get to the show at the Gravity Lounge on the 17th of February. This is one of our favorite places to hear Ellis :D .

Barbara,

It was nice hearing both the host and EP mention your talented musician sons! You all must have been thrilled! :)

Hi Karen:

Yes, they were thrilled, honored and surprised beyond words!!! It's usually not usually very quiet around this house but, for once, they were speechless  .
