Ellis song placement in "Me, Myself & Irene"

I had a nice surprise right before the 10 o'clock news tonight. Finally the ending to Me, Myself, and Irene came on (I've never had time to make it through more than bits of the movie the times I've tried to rent it), just that part is all I saw. Finally I heard Ellis singing The World Ain't Slowing Down as the hero kisses the girl. Put a big smile on my face.
