A 5 year old's interpretation of I Lost a Day to the Rain
I hope Ellis hears this file before coming to Atlanta.
My family, husband and boys Sam (8 y.o.) and David (5 y.o.) include, is a big fan. This summer Ellis's Drqagonfly Races hardly left our car CD player. One evening I caught the attached audio file of my 5 y.o. singing his rendition of I Lost a Day to the Rain. You have to be patient through some of it...but if you are familiar with the song, you will at least chuckle.

"Some people are born to make great art and others are born to appreciate it. It is a kind of talent in itself, to be an audience, whether you are the spectator in the gallery or you are listening to the voice of the world's greatest soprano. Not everyone can be the artist. There have to be those who witness the art, who love and appreciate what they have been privileged to see." -- Ann Patchett in Bel Canto.
