"If You Break Down" on Ed (TV show)

Postby KarenZ » Wed Feb 17, 2010 11:39 am

Folks,

Some of you may remember that "If You Break Down" appeared in an episode of the TV Show Ed a few years ago. Here's a 3 1/2 minute video snippet of the episode featuring the song. Thanks to Patti for the find! :)

"Some people are born to make great art and others are born to appreciate it. It is a kind of talent in itself, to be an audience, whether you are the spectator in the gallery or you are listening to the voice of the world's greatest soprano. Not everyone can be the artist. There have to be those who witness the art, who love and appreciate what they have been privileged to see." -- Ann Patchett in Bel Canto.

I loved the show "Ed" back in the day, and remember watching that episode with great excitement, because I'd received an email from Ellis' manager with advance notice. It was the right song for that moment, and appropriate for so many "friendship" moments. Thanks for posting this. Now, to get psyched for tonight's WUMB Member concert. Yeah!
