It was great to see Ellis after so long. He has a new keyboard that he used to play Home and Summertime. He still seems to be sticking to just the white keys, but maybe that will change now that he has his very own black keys. While he talked about working on a children's album for his daughters, he did not sing any of those songs. He sang a new grown up song, but didn't mention the name. It is based on an Eastern philosophy. I'll try to get the video up some time this week.
Flynn was a last minute addition as the opening act. That was an unexpected bonus!! He and Ellis did Blacktop Train together unplugged in the audience and a "plugged" version of Let It Be. Perhaps it was lack of sleep due to the new babies in their lives, but they could barely keep it together. They were laughing and smiling. Nah, now that I think about it, it is just your typical Ellis and Flynn interaction.
