OK. Just saying this was a very hot show. Ellis was in form. Nothing was canned. Adam Ezra only added to the volume. It’s rare that I wish for an encore from the opener! The list:

- The World Ain’t Slowing Down
- Hurricane Angel
- * From here on out, Adam Ezra joined Ellis on the stage (barefoot) :-)
- Maria’s Beautiful Mess
- Rose Tattoo
- Three Thousand Miles
- Take All The Sky You Need
- Alice’s Champagne Palace
- Summertime
- Anna Lee
- Juke Box on My Grave
- Black Top Train (perhaps the most smokin’ version I’ve seen with Adam on the harmonica)
- Nothing Left to Take
- Heaven’s Where You Are
- Home
- Sweet Mistakes
- Calendar Man
- Roll Away Bed
- Lights of Vegas
- The Day After Everything Changed
- Encore: Snow In Austin

Great show, well worth the trip down south! For anyone who was there: PBR Go Saints! :-)

Ellis will be at Eddie's Attic later this month.

This past Sunday 10.10.10 Parade Magazine had a nice story about Jennifer Nettles ( Sugarland) teaming up with Eddie Owen, founder and manager of Eddie's Attic in Decatur GA, for a music program for underprivelaged kids in the Atlanta area. The program Attic Community Playground is to help develop and underwrite arts curricula for schools.

Nice story.. I was trying to find the link to put here but it doesn't appear to be online yet
