hey everyone!
i'm getting excited for the end of the year shows at Passim again! it was great to meet a few people from the board at the halloween shows hope to meet some more.
i want to do a shameless plug for the Fitchburg show in Feb.
FSC is where i did my undergrad work and i'm good friends with the woman who runs the Cultural Affairs program. i'm so excited for Ellis to be there - but from what i understand the show is barely half sold!
Percival Auditorium is a nice small space - EP will shine there! Richie Havens played last week to a sold out house and it was fantastic.
i know its still a ways a way - but think about it!!!

Hi care,
You mean 2010, right? I'll tell my friends who are in that area.

It was at this show where I became a fan of Ellis, got the new Cd and Dragonfly Races as well for the posted price of $10 each (even though Ellis, surprisingly, told audience members to pay whatever we could afford, "seriously".)

A "serious" welcome to you! Please consider sharing a few highlights of the show for those of us who must live vicariously.

"Some people are born to make great art and others are born to appreciate it. It is a kind of talent in itself, to be an audience, whether you are the spectator in the gallery or you are listening to the voice of the world's greatest soprano. Not everyone can be the artist. There have to be those who witness the art, who love and appreciate what they have been privileged to see." -- Ann Patchett in Bel Canto.
