Too Bad... I will be there with my husband on Friday...

Anyone know if Ellis will be signing the CD's that we all received this summer if we bring them?

i will be there with a large group on thursday, and with susanh on saturday. i am very excited to see adam and ellis at the same time. now if we could just get flynn to do a few songs it would be my dream show.

jeanne, i don't know about ellis' signing plans, but passim is a perfect place for fan/artist interaction, so i'd bring it along.

Howdy all!

Last night's show was amazing! Adam Ezra played an excellent opening set, and Ellis was in top form.

Michael Clem from Eddie from Ohio joined Ellis for much of his set, Adam joined in at the end and even Vance Gilbert was there for a few songs...playing a mean set of house keys! When you don't have a tambourine, keys work wonderfully!
Vance just came in throught the back door onto the stage mid song...too funny!

It was a nice change having Ellis only playing one set a night, he played for a long time, instead of having to end early to do a second show.

Set list:
Hurrican Angel
Once Upon a Summertime
Rose Tattoo
Lights of Vegas
Maria's Beautiful Mess (with Mike Clem)
Alice's Champagne Palace (w/Mike Clem)
The Day After Everything Changes (w/MC)
Dragonfly (w/MC and Vance Gilbert)
Annalee (in audience w/ MC and VG [on keys])
Home
The World Ain't Slowing Down
Angel in Manhattan
Did Galileo Pray?
Here She Is
Conversation with a Ghost
3000 Miles (w/MC and Adam Ezra)
Take All the Sky (w/MC and AE)
Walking After Midnight/Things Change (w/MC and AE)
Blacktop Train (w/MC and AE)

Such an incredible show. So great to see everybody, Ellis has some nice new merchandise, cool t-shirt and an amazing limited edition poster. Nice to meet you Care. Great to see you Patti.

I can't wait for Halloween night!

Susan - thanks for the report sounds like a great evening. Would have loved to have seen the look on everyone's face when Vance 'appeared' - he's a scream!

Jeanne - your turn tonight????

what a great time last night. time really runs differently at passim. i agree with everyone that it was nice to see one longer show rather than trying to cram 2 shows and people coming and going.

on that note...New Years shows have been announced :)

another highlight - the story behind Conversation with a Ghost, with Vance adding his own comments from the back of the room :D

it was great to meet everyone last night !!

if you're going the rest of the weekend have a great, safe time and happy halloween. maybe the boys will put on a costume like the year they did coffee filters on their heads at the new years show?! haha

Thanks Jeanne. CWAG is one of my all time favourite Ellis songs and I'm so pleased that he's performing it at the shows.

Now if only I could be tele-transported to Passim tonight!

Jeanne, thanks for the report from the Friday Night edition of the Passim shows this weekend. Pam always hopes to hear Words so she's a bit green with envy.

I got to choose a song at the house concert at Karen's over the summer and what do you say when Ellis is sitting less than 6 feet away from you and calls out your name and asks you what you want to hear ~ Conversation with a Ghost

BOO!

Happy Halloween ya'll

Hey Jela, maybe you can listen in to Monica's radio show later tonight and perhaps Ellis can phone in CWAG. That would be fitting tonight of all nights!

All the trick or treaters are gone now...

Anyone have the set list from tonight (Saturday)....

I did not manage to get ANY T-shirts... Didn't not see any on display? Maybe I missed them or maybe they were all sold by the end of the show? Hmm...

Na na na-na na na ........ woke up singing that this a.m. AWESOME show. Mike Clem is sooooo funny and I really enjoyed his set. Saw Vance all dressed up outside during the break, although he put on a fake accent and swore I had him mistaken for someone else. After a while, my friend and I were starting to think we were wrong and sorta walked away and he said "Okay, it's me!" Too funny! Flynn made an appearance for the amazing "Let it Be." Just closed my eyes on that one and let that carry me away. I sure do hope those two record that sometime.

I did not write down a set list but I'm sure I know someone who did (cough, Susan or Bonnie, cough)!

Great to see you ladies last night and Rachel too!

Jeanne, they had a T-shirt hanging where you check in last night. Rachel had to go get them when I told her I wanted one, so maybe that was the deal the other night as well. LOVE the shirt!

Bought a CD for a friend who has heard me talk about Ellis many times, so I'm spreading the word!

Amazing night, as it always is at an Ellis Paul show!

Oh, I know.. I woke up on Sat. singing too. Funny story....we had tickets for EP on Friday in Cambridge (for me) and tickets to the Boston Symphony on Saturday (for my husband). I told my husband on Sunday a.m... I am more of a "na na na na" girl than a "da da da da" girl:) He agreed:)

Wish I could have joined you all, but I couldn't get to any of the shows. My thoughts were with you all and Ellis though! Sounds like it was fantastic.
