It would be fun to dress up as a character from an Ellis Paul song. I always wanted to be the prophet in a party dress. ;-)

"Some people are born to make great art and others are born to appreciate it. It is a kind of talent in itself, to be an audience, whether you are the spectator in the gallery or you are listening to the voice of the world's greatest soprano. Not everyone can be the artist. There have to be those who witness the art, who love and appreciate what they have been privileged to see." -- Ann Patchett in Bel Canto.

i think my boyfriend and I are going to try and go october 30. just a thought- but if he's doing 3 shows the end of october - does that mean possibly no new years eve eve and new years eve show at passim? is it my imagination or is it usually announced by this time?

I have tickets to the 31st and am hoping to be able to volunteer at the other shows. We'll see.

Care,

A lot of venues will not announce a later show by the same artist until the earlier show sells out, or is over. I can't imagine Ellis or Passim would be willing to give up the New Years shows. They wouldn't do that to me. Would they? :P
