I see Ellis is playing this Monday with Kristian Bush at Eddie's Attic!! I think this show was just added.. I have yet to hear one note of the song they cowrote (?) "Little Wood Guitar" (not even sure that is the title) , if anyone is there try to get some sort of recording of it
I was wondering do the shows really take place upstairs, in an attic, at Eddie Owens place..
On the live at EO CD that I just orderd I know between one of the songs Ellis talks about how he used to see John Mayer working there and next thing you know you can't turn on the tv or radio without hearing about John.. he says the same thing happened with Kristian but he was okay with that

Patti,
Last holiday season, Sugarland released a special edition of their CD Enjoy the Ride which included a 5-song Christmas EP. "Little Wood Guitar" was one of the five songs. I think you can find a used copy on Amazon.

"Some people are born to make great art and others are born to appreciate it. It is a kind of talent in itself, to be an audience, whether you are the spectator in the gallery or you are listening to the voice of the world's greatest soprano. Not everyone can be the artist. There have to be those who witness the art, who love and appreciate what they have been privileged to see." -- Ann Patchett in Bel Canto.

Patti,
It's not really an attic, but the third floor of what used to be a department store, years ago.
It definitely has an 'attic' feel to it.....very cozy!! It's a fabulous place to see a show, with one of the best sound systems in the city, and the best soundman to run it!! If you haven't been, you should make the trip soon!!
I can't wait to get my copy of the Live at EA cd!!
